The Schneider Group, is a reputed name of the market, renowned for its excellence and focus on quality. Under this group, several companies function like our company. Dealing in best in class Contactors, Easypact CVS MCCB, Switches, Sockets, etc., we have made the group proud.
Our generations old group was incorporated by Schneider brothers. They were visionaries of the 19th century, who knew the potential in their revolutionary idea. Some major Milestone Dates for our group have been:
- 1836: The Schneider brothers decided ti acquire mines as well as forges at a prime location in France, Le Creusot.
- 1838: The golden brothers incorporated Schneider & Cie.
- 1891: The business proved its excellence in the field of firearms, and decided to enter the emerging electrical market.
- 1919: Through the European Industrial and Financial Union (EIFU), the business extends into Germany and Eastern Europe.
- 1949: After WWII, Mr. Charles Schneider leads a comprehensive restructuring effort.
- 1975: Mr. Merlin Gerin, a leading firm in electrical distribution equipment, is acquired by the Schneider Group.
- 1981-1997: The corporation exits the steel and shipbuilding industries in order to focus on strategic acquisitions in the energy sector.
- 1999: With the acquisition of Lexel, the Group develops Installation, Systems, and Control and adopts its current name.
- 2000-2009: We made massive acquisitions in the segments like UPS, movement control, building automation, and security during this period of organic growth.
- 2010: The position of Schneider Electric in software, critical power, and smart grid applications was further strengthened in the year.
